AI Skills for Work & Everyday Life introduces learners to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and shows how AI can be used practically and responsibly.
You will progress from understanding what AI is, to using AI tools, writing effective prompts, applying AI to work and study, exploring business and creative applications, and finally using AI responsibly.

Introduction to Artificial Intelligence
Learn what AI is, how it works at a basic level, what generative AI means and how AI is already being used in everyday life.
Start Module 1 →Getting Started with AI Tools
Discover different types of AI tools, chatbots, writing tools, creative tools and how to choose the right AI tool for your needs.
Start Module 2 →Prompt Engineering
Learn how to communicate effectively with AI by creating clear, specific and useful prompts.
Start Module 3 →AI for Work & Study
Learn practical ways to use AI for productivity, writing, research, presentations, spreadsheets and job searching.
Start Module 4 →AI for Business & Creativity
Explore business ideas, marketing, social media, creative content and customer communication using AI.
Start Module 5 →Responsible AI & Final Assessment
Learn about responsible AI use, privacy, misinformation, bias and human oversight, then complete the final practical assessment.
Complete Module 6 →Certificate of Completion
Successfully complete all six modules, activities and the final assessment to qualify for the course's Certificate of Completion, subject to Ikwezi CDC's completion requirements.
Your certificate will use the official Ikwezi green, purple and gold theme.
